As of July 1, 2018, the year-to-date real estate market for Mammoth Lakes as remained strong with consistent monthly increase.
The residential real estate market has been increasing at a rate of 2% per month during 2018 with the median price of a single family home at $890,000. This is a 14.84% increase over the median price of a home in 2017. These figures are based on 33 sales in Mammoth Lakes from January 1, 2018 to June 30th, 2018. The condominium market was the shining star for 2017, and is still proving strong increases for 2018 year to date. The median price of a condominium in Mammoth Lakes is presently $387,625, this is a 11% increase of the median price in 2017. The median price was derived using 170 total sales year-to-date. The average number of days a condominium was exposed to the open market was 82 days.
