Grocery Outlet in Mammoth Lakes
Grocery Outlet Mammoth Lakes
Grocery Outlet is taking California by storm as grocery stores attempt to cater to those shoppers looking for an alternative to main street pricing of essential foods. This store is able to remain very competitive in the grocery world by purchasing overstocked products and passing the discount on to consumers. While the consistency of specific products may vary, the affordability of all products remains the same. Products like cheese and wine tend to be abundant and always affordable.
“Nosh” which is an acronym for Natural, Organic Specialty, Healthy is the healthy alternative food being sold by Grocery Outlet:
You can eat organic, healthy foods and not break the bank. You shouldn’t avoid the healthy products and produce because of the prices. Shoppers can save an average of 60%-70% off your groceries and other products. Some of our hottest selling items are the natural, organic, specialty and healthy (NOSH) products!
Grocery Outlet is able to provide organic, healthy products at huge discounts. Because they purchase and carry brand-name product manufacturers’ overstock products, they can easily access these healthier, organic, non-GMO options and fresh fruits & vegetables at a fraction of the cost.
The day prior to opening, Matthew Lehman Real Estate had an opportunity to speak with Grocery Outlets new owner. Below is an interview with Bobby McGhee:
Background of Grocery Outlet in Mammoth Lakes
On June 14th, 2017 the Planning Commission in Mammoth Lakes heard and decided on an agenda item to approve a new Grocery Outlet store to be built in Mammoth Lakes.
Grocery Outlet was represented by several members of Best Development, including their architect, senior planner, store developer and principals. The agenda item was approved by the Planning Commission by way of a 4-0 vote.
The new store is to be built on 1.3 acres of land located at 37 & 77 Old Mammoth Road, between the Shell gas station and Century 21.
