Description:
Beautifully upgraded one bedroom one bath condo with underground parking, indoor common area pool & spa, and is just steps away from Mammoth Mountain Ski Area’s Village Gondola. The unit is accessed by way of an secure indoor hallway. This condo is about as close as you can get to restaurants, bars & events in Mammoth Lakes. Free public transportation is less than 1/2 a block from the front door. There is a private one bedroom, with one bath and a pull out sofa bed in the living room. The Space:
This space is your own private condominium that is not only clean, but recently upgraded. The space has a wood burning stove, BBQ and a private entrance. It is accessed by way of a electronic coded door in an indoor hallway and has a secure, heated, underground parking garage.
Guest Access:
You will have use of the entire condominium unit, parking garage, indoor Pool and Spa and common amenities (Covid restrictions permitting).
Neighborhood Overview:
The Village at Mammoth neighborhood is a walking village and focal point for locals and visitors alike. Its the place to be!! Its a hub for fun, events and access to Mammoth Mountain. Getting on the gondola, mountain bike trails, paved multi-use paths, or the bus is just a few hundred meters away.
Getting Around:
Getting around is easy. Mammoth strives toward a “feet first” concept. Park in our private underground, heated, parking garage. From the condo you can get on the free town bus or you can walk the multi-use path to the Lakes Basin. Mountain bike access and shuttles to the ski area can be found at the edges of the Village at Mammoth (just steps away).
The Village Gondola is also just a few hundred meters away. If you are going to drive in winter conditions, be prepared with snow chains if you do not have adequate four wheel drive.
Because we are only about 40 minutes from the eastern entrance of Yosemite, you may be planning a trip to Yosemite. If you don’t want to drive, look into the Yosemite Area Rapid Transit Service (YARTS)
If you just want to explore the area, rent an e-bike from one of the Village rental shops, or one of the sports shops in town. The Multi-Use path is a great way to see the town.
Suggestions for Guests:
Old New York Deli and Bagel – Walking distance your unit with a great variety meals for breakfast and lunch. Food quality is great and they have have a sunny outdoor patio.
Burgers – Located Across the street from Fireside and the Village. Newly remodeled with a new upstairs bar. Owners are great local folks and wonderful hosts.
Village at Mammoth – The Village at Mammoth is a focal point for visitors and local alike. The “Village” is a walking pedestrian village with shops, restaurants, and an events plaza. The Village is also a hub for the free transportation system to other part of town, the Lakes Basin or the ski area. In the summer months, the village plaza is usually filled with music and food events. In the winter, you can take the Village Gondola to Mammoth Mountain’s Canyon Lodge (snow permitting).
Mammoth Lakes in General – Mammoth is a year around mountain resort community full of fun and adventure. Whether you like to ski, snowboard, bike, hike, golf, fish, sight see, visit national parks or more… Mammoth is for fun!
Clocktower Cellar – Located across the street from Fireside and the Village, this is a great local, and visitor, pub located in the basement beneath Petra’s Restaurant. Owned and operated by the owners of the Alpenhof Lodge. Basic food, full bar and fun environment.
Petras Bistro – If you are looking for a nice sit down dinner or a date night, Petra’s is your place. Located across the street from Fireside this restaurant/Bar has a great selection of wine and and and great food.
Free Public Transportation – Take the free public transportation to downtown Mammoth, Village, ski area, Lakes Basin and more. The Village at Mammoth is a great hub to catch the Trolley.
