Where is Mammoth Knolls?

Mammoth Knolls is a residential neighborhood located at the northern most edge of Mammoth Lakes, just past the Village at Mammoth on the way to Mammoth Mountain Ski Area by way of highway 203. This neighborhood is just a few minutes walk to parks, the community center, parking Village at Mammoth, public transportation and more. It is also just a few miles drive to Mammoth Mountain Ski Area’s Main Lodge and Canyon Lodge.
Mammoth Knolls is considered a unique neighborhood to Mammoth Lakes as it is surrounded by public Forest Service lands on its west, north and east sides. From many homes in Mammoth Knolls one can explore through the native pines and experience the tranquility for which Mammoth is known.
For those looking for a little more conventional excitement, the Village at Mammoth is just a short walk to the south and hosts a variety of restaurants, shopping, music event and is even a good access point for skiing, snowboarding or mountain biking on Mammoth Mountain. The Village at Mammoth is a public transportation hub for many of the free bus/trolley routes throughout Mammoth.

Homes in Mammoth Knolls range in quality, design and overall appeal. Driving through the neighborhood it is easy to pick out the older gambrel or style mountain homes as well as the newer craftsman home with modern features.
Streets within the Mammoth Knolls subdivision are named after famous European ski resorts and possess names such as: Zermatt, Zurs Court, Chamonix, St. Anton Circle, and Courcheval.
