The Mammoth Reggae Festival just reached its 5th year of celebration!
Last weekend marked the 5th year of the Mammoth Reggae Festival in the Village at Mammoth and it would appear that music lovers were more than pleased with the event. The Village Plaza was filled with reggae fans, food and libations. The event’s promoter, and owner of Smokeyard Restaurant, Alon Ravid made sure this Labor Day weekend was not a let down for those visiting the area. The line-up of music looked like this:
Saturday, August 30th, 2014
- Common Sense
- Arden Park Roots
- Jet West
- P-Nuckle
- The Stircrazies
Sunday August 31st, 2014
- Pato Banton
- 80 proof
- Arise Roots
- Black Salt Tone
- Just Chill
Pato Banton was a great selection as the events headliner this year as this group seemed to capture the spirit of the event. Pato Banton preached a pretty strong message of peace through his christian faith, all while embracing other faiths from the audience.
